2 lb. ground beef chuck
1 onion, chopped
1/4 c. salad oil
2 T. flour
1-2 T. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin seed
2 tsp. salt
2 cloves garlic, crushed
8 oz. tomato sauce
cooked or canned pinto beans

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef and onion in hot oil. Stir in flour, seasonings crushed to a paste in a little warm water, tomato sauce and 2 cups cooking liquid from the beans or beef stock. Simmer about 45 minutes. Add salt if needed. Add beans. Simmer until flavors blend.
