1/2 lb ground beef
1 medium onion - diced
1 cup fine bread crumbs
2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
3 eggs - slightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 box manicotti shells
1 jar spaghetti sauce - divided
1/2 c grated cheese ( optional )

Brown ground beef and onion. Drain any fat. Stir in bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese,eggs, salt and pepper. Spray a casserole dish with Pam, then pour in half of the spaghetti sauce. Spoon filling into each manicotti shell. Place in a single layer on top of sauce. Combine 1/2 cup water with the remaining half of spaghetti sauce. When finished filling all the shells, pour the sauce and water over them. Cover with foil and bake at 375 for 1 hour. Top with grated cheese if desired
