stick of butter
1/4 c milk
cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes, drain and mash, season, add butter, salt, pepper and some cheese.
Put all in a crock pot and keep on low until time to serve. Serve from crock pot. This keeps them warm for a long time.
I now cook them around noon for the evening Christmas dinner.
If you start cooking the potatoes in the AM, you can cook them in the crock pot, mash with hand mixer or masher, season and leave until evening.
