1/4 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 cup dark corn syrup
3 eggs beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecan halves
1 deep dish pie shell

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar, cream together until fluffy.
Add salt, corn syrup and beaten eggs and vanilla.
Mix well. Place pecans in pie shell. Pour filling over pecans. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
Reduce temp to 350 degrees and bake 35 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
