1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. water
Additional spices according to taste

Directions:
Mix together dry ingredients. Add water and mix thoroughly. Dip fish into batter making sure it is completely coated. Fry fish etc. in hot oil until cooked.
