Ingredients:  
1/2 onion - diced
1/3 cup real butter
2 TBSP. flour
1 liter whip cream
3/4 cup sour cream
salt

Directions:
Directions:
Saute diced onion with butter. Let the butter brown, but not burn and add flour. Add the whip cream and salt to taste. Stirring constantly bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Left over sauce freezes well.

This was Oma's famous wareneki sauce, you couldn't eat warenekis without it! This recipe is well worth handing down to family members.
