1 c. butter
1 lb. brown sugar
dash salt
1 c. light corn syrup
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a heavy saucepan. Add brown sugar and salt. Stir until thoroughly combined. Stir in corn syrup and mix well. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Cook and stir over medium heat until candy reaches firm ball stage; 245 on candy thermometer, about 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Pour into buttered 9x13 pan. Cool and cut into squares. Wrap squares in wax paper.
