6 to 8 apples 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 c. water 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 T. lemon juice
TOPPING: 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 3/4 c. flour 1/4 tsp. salt
Peel and cut up apples. Mix apples, sugar, water, cinnamon, lemon juice. Put in 9x13 pan. Mix together the butter, sugar, flour, and salt. Put mixture on top of apples. Bake at 375º for about 45 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
