2 sticks margarine
1 stick butter
3 c. sugar
1 8oz package cream cheese
3 c. sifted cake flour
6 extra large eggs
1 tbsp vanilla
1tsp salt (if butter unsalted)

Optional:
2 tsp Almond extract

START FROM A COLD OVEN
Cream the butter, then add the margarine and cream cheese blend until smooth. Add the sugar and blend until smooth. Start with 2 eggs at a time, beat the eggs and add them to the mixture then add 1 cup of flour. Beat and continue to do this until all 6 eggs are used with the flour. Add the vanilla and beat.

Grease and flour a bundt pan or tube pan. Spoon in the cake. Tap out any air bubbles. Place in the cold oven.
Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
