Buy a chicken cut up or just the pieces you want.
Wash & pat dry.
Salt & Pepper
Put white flour in a brown paper bag.
Drop pieces in to coat with flour.

Directions:
Directions:
Use black frying pan; fill ½ way with Crisco shortening.
Heat until melted and very hot.
Place coated chicken in hot oil.
Turn down to medium.
Cook on each side 15-20 minutes
Until golden brown and yummy.

To make gravy- pour off all grease.
Add 1 tbsp. Flour to drippings
Add 1-cup warm water
Stirring constantly until thick
Then add small amount of milk if needed
