1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
1 c. flour
1 T. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 T. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
dash pepper
10-16 hot dogs

Directions:
Directions:
In bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, milk, eggs, paprika, mustard and pepper. Pour mixture into a tall glass. Skewer hot dogs with wooden skewers (popsicle sticks); dip in mixture. Deep-fry at 375º F. until golden brown. About 2 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
