3 lb. beef roast boneless
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. marjoram
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. Cayenne pepper
1 tsp. basil
dash of garlic
2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine ingredients; pour over meat. Cook in Crock Pot until meat flakes when touched with a fork, 3-4 hours on high. Cook at 350 F. If baking in oven, when meat flakes off, shred roast and simmer for another half hour.

Good with elk roast but must cook 24 hours on medium setting.
