1 qt. Tomatoes
1 tsp. Sugar (opt)
tsp. Baking Soda
Salt and Pepper to taste
3 c. Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the tomatoes to a boil. Add the baking soda. (It will foam up.) Add the remaining ingredients. Serve with cornbread or corn muffins.

This is good if you put a small pat of butter in each bowl right before serving.
