1 c. sweet butter
2/3 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Candied cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Set oven at 375º. Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in egg yolks and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt. Using a cookie press or pastry bag with a large star or ribbon tube, press out dough in different shapes, working directly on ungreased cookie sheets. Decorate centers of cookies with candied cherries. Bake for 10 minutes or until edges are golden. Makes about 60.
