Barbecued Spareribs Recipe

4 or 5 lbs spareribs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili
1 tbsp celery seed
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
1 cup Catsup's
2 cups water
4 or 5 drops tabasco sauce

Cut spareribs in serving pieces and place meaty side up in open roasting pan.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper
Lay thin slices of lemon over pieces of spareribs
Sprinkle with chopped onion
Bake in hot oven 450 uncovered for about 45 minutes
Pour off grease and remove lemon
Pour boiling sauce over all and continue baking until done.
