1 T Butter
1 C Sugar
2 Eggs
3 C Flour
3 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 C milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add well beaten eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, salt and baking powder and add alternately with milk to egg mixture. Mix to make a stiff dough - roll it out to about 1/4 inch think and cut and twist strips. Cook in shortening like doughnuts. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
