3 cups self rising flour 3 T sugar 1 egg beaten 1 12 oz can of beer (type of beer will affect taste)
combine flour and sugar add egg, then beer stirring just enough to mix pour batter into greased and floured 9X5X3 loaf pan bake at 350F for 50 minutes cool in pan for 10 minutes then invert on wire rack
