Rock Candy and glycerine are listed on the ingredients, but not on the directions. Next to Glycerine it does say only use a small amount. This is listed as daddy's recipe from Grandmother Finley for cough syrup (he said she brought the recipe from Tennessee. We can assume that you dip the rock candy in the honey/whiskey. Not sure what the glycerine is for.
