2 c. milk
4 fresh yeast cakes
1 c. mashed potatoes
1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. Crisco
2 tbsp. salt
1 c. cake flour
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla or 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

3 c. regular flour
3 c. cake flour

Directions:
Directions:
Warm 2 cups milk. Then add 4 fresh yeast cakes. Let stand till other misture is mixed.
1st Mix: the mased potatoes, sugar, Crisco, salt, cake flour, eggs, and vanilla or nutmeg. Mix well. Add this mixture to the milk and yeast.
Then add, 3 cups regular flour and 3 cups cake flour. Let raise 15 minutes, roll out and cut. Let raise until light. Fry in deep fat.
