1 cup soft shortening
1 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon soda
teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pre heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together shortening sugar and eggs. Sift together the flour, cream of tartar, soda, salt and stir into mixture. Roll into balls the size of walnuts, then roll into 2 tablespoon sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes until light brown. 5 dozen 2 inch cookies

This is the most wonderful cookie. Do not overcook. Jack can eat them by the dozen with a glass of milk. Yummy!
