1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
4 T. molasses

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, add 1/2 dry ingredients. Add molasses, and then the remaining dry ingredients. Roll in balls, then roll in sugar. Place 1/2 in. apart. Bake 12 minutes at 350.
