1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup syrup
1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla
5 quarts popped corn
2 cups red skinned peanuts ( optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large pan, stir in sugar, corn syrup bring to boil stirring constantly, boil without stirring for 5 minutes, remove from heat stir in soda and vanilla, gradually pour over popped corn in shallow pan ( 2 shallow pans are best) mix well
Bake @ 250 for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes, break apart and store in tightly covered container
