1 pkg. yellow cake mix,
1/2 cup melted butter,
1 egg.

Filling:
1 cup chopped pecans,
1/2 cup packed brown sugar,
1 1/2 c. Karo syrup,
1 tsp. vanilla,
3 eggs,
2/3 cup reserved cake mix
Directions:
Directions:
Grease bottom and sides of 9 x 13 pan. Reserve 2/3 cup cake mix for filling in large bowl.

Combine remaining dry cake mix, margarine and 1 egg. Mix until crumble and press in prepared pan. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Prepare filling and pour over crust and sprinkle pecans. Return to oven and bake 30-35 minutes until filling is set. Cool and cut into bars.
