"When I'm at a Chinese restaurant having a hard time with chopsticks, I always hope that there's a Chinese kid at an American restaurant somewhere who's struggling mightily with a fork."--Rick Budinich
3 tbsp. sugar 2 cups cold water 1/2 cup cornstarch food coloring
Mix together sugar and cornstarch. Add water, cook over a medium heat until well-blended and thick. Divide into 4 or 5 portions and add different colors of food coloring. (To give a nicer smell, add a bit of dish soap. This also makes for easier clean-up.)
