5 c. sifted flour,
4 tsp. baking powder,
1 1/2 tsp. salt,
2 tsp. vanilla,
1 c. shortening,
2 c. sugar,
4 eggs,

Directions:
Directions:
Mix well; chill 1 hour. Roll out 1/2" thick, cut in heart shapes. Bake 400 for 5 minutes.

Frosting: 1 1/2 lb.powdered sugar, 3/4 c. crisco, 10-20 Tbl. water (as much as needed to become smooth).
