2 c. scalded milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 square of butter
2 tsp. salt
5 tsp.yeast
3 T. sugar
1/2 c. warm water
2 eggs
5-7 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Pour milk over other ingredients and let cool. Dissolve 2 yeast cakes with sugar and warm water. Beat eggs in a large bowl and add milk mixture and yeast. Add flour to form a soft dough Cover and let rise on a floured board. Cut and put in greased pans. Let rise 45 minutes to 1 hour. Brush top with melted butter and bake at 375-400º for 10 minutes. Rising time can be lengthened. This recipe makes delicious cinnamon rolls.
