10 T. butter, softened
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c. almonds, toasted and ground

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour and salt. Chill, if desired. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in ground almonds. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased sheet. Make a deep well in center. Bake 350º 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire rack to cool. Spoon jelly or butter cream frosting into the center.
