1 cup long grain white rice 1/2 cup salsa or stewed tomatoes 2 1/2 cups hot water 1 packet Sazon seasoning vegetable oil
Heat about 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a 2 quart pot. Add rice and cook until browned. Carefully add hot water and tomatoes (salsa) to the rice. Add seasoning and reduce heat to simmer. Cover and cook about 15-20 minutes until water is absorbed and rice is tender.
