1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening (also as butter)
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. warm milk
1 yeast cake
2 eggs, beaten
nuts (if desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together like pie crust the sugar, shortening, flour and salt. Dissolve yeast in milk. Mix in the two beaten eggs to the above, with a spoon.
Don't knead. Cover and let stand over night in cool place. Roll as far pie crust, cut and roll. Let rise. Make into rolls, bake and frost. Nuts may be sprinkled on. Serve.
