4 cups flour
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 cup oleo
2 cups sugar
2 egg yolks
1 cup evaporated milk
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla
2 egg whites

combine oleo and sugar until light add egg yolks, continue beating until light and fluffy, add dry ingredients alternating with milk and juice, beat well
add vanilla, beat egg whites until stiff but not dry
fold into batter, divide dough into 4 parts
to first part add 1/4 cup coconut
to second part add 1/4 cup chopped nuts
to third part add 1/4 cup chopped pineapple drained
combine and set aside:
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp nutmeg
drop batter by rounded tablespoon 3 inches apart on greased cookie sheet
sprinkle sugar mixture over cookies
Bake @ 375 5-7 minutes or until slightly brown around edges
