1 , 8 oz cream cheese softened
1/2 cup oleo softened
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 cup flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
2/3 cup pecans
1 tsp lemon rind
2-3 tbsp lemon juice
1/3 cup sifted powdered sugar

combine cream chesse and butter, cream well, gradually add sugar beat until fluffy add eggs one at a time, beat well after each egg, combine dry ingredients, add with milk beginning and ending with flour, mix well,add pecans
pour into 2 greased and floured 8.5x4.5x 3 inch loaf pans
Bake @ 350 for 45 minutes

combine rind, juice and powdered sugar, mix until smooth, pour over hot loaves
cool in pan 10 minutes , remove to racks to continue cooling
