3/4 cup unsalted butter
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp almond extract
3/4 tsp salt
4-5 tbsp sesame seeds
Apricot preserves or raspberry preserves

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl beat butter and brown sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in flour, almond extract, and salt until well combined. Shape into 1" balls. Roll in sesame seeds. Place 1-1/2" apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Flatten cookies slightly and indent centers with thumb. Fill with preserves. Bake 375ºF for 10 minutes or until edges are firm.
