2c. shortening
2 c. packed brown sugar
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
5 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugars until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by spoonfuls, 3 inch apart onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350º F. for 8-10 min.
