Combine:
1 cup applesauce
1 beaten egg
2 tbsp melted butter
Sift together:
3 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp soda
2 cups of flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt

Directions:
sift dry ingredients into first mixture, then add 1 cup of nuts
Bake @ 350 in well greased loaf pan for 40-50 minutes
