2 C. SUGAR
1 1/2 C APPLESAUCE (HOT)
3 1/2 C. FLOUR
1 C. RAISINS (COOKED)
1/2 C. NUTS (ENGLISH WALNUTS)
1 TBSP. SODA DISSOLVED IN HOT APPLESAUCE
1/2 TSP CLOVES

Directions:
HINT: COOK RAISINS ABOUT 10-15 MINUTES. COVER WITH WATER. DON'T DRAIN ANY REMAINING WATER. ADD TO DOUGH.
IF SMALL AMOUNT EXTRA APPLESAUCE- ADD IT TO DOUGH ALSO.
BAKE AT 375 DEGREES IN 9 X13 GREASED AND FLOURED PAN FOR 45 MINUTES TO 1 HOUR
