Banana Bread Recipe

2/3 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk ( sour)

2 c. bananas-- mashed-- old ones are better

Cream together shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
Mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add to sugar mixture.
Add the milk and bananas. Mix well.
Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
Bake at 350 F. for 30 min.
