Peanut Butter Brownies Recipe

3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. peanut butter
2 1/4 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. semi sweet choc chips
3/4 c. nuts-- chopped

Cream shortening, peanut butter, sugar. Cream eggs, vanilla; mix well.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt into mixture.
Stir in choc. chips and nuts.
Spread in greased 15 x 10 x 1 baking pan.
Bake at 350 for 30 min.
