Fudge Bars Recipe

1 c. sweetened condensed milk
1-12oz. pkg chocolate chips
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. margarine
2 eggs
2-1/2 c. flour
2-1/2 c. oatmeal
2 tsp. soda
1 c. nuts

Combine first 5 ingredients and melt in double boiler over hot water. Set aside. Cream brown sugar, eggs and margarine. Blend in dry ingredients and nuts. Save 2 c. of this mixture. Press remaining mixture into 9 x 13 in. pan. Pour chocolate mixture over it and top with reserved topping mixture. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
