1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon unsalted butter
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
3/4 cup packaged baby carrots
1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley

Directions:
Directions:
1. Bring brown sugar, butter, broth, water and salt to a boil in a small (8 or 10") heavy skillet, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
2. Add carrots and simmer, covered until just tender, 4-5 minutes.
3. Transfer carrots with a slotted spoon to a bowl and boil liquid until reduced to a glaze (about 11/2 tablespoons).
4. Return carrots to skillet and cook over low heat stirring until heated through and coated with glaze.
5. Stir in lemon juice and parsley and season with salt and pepper.
