1/2 cup of butter softened
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 cups mashed bananas(4-5 medium)
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
pinch salt
1 cup walnuts(optional)

Frosting
1/2 cup butter softened
1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla


Directions:
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream butter, and sugar.
Beat in eggs, bananas, and vanilla.
Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Add to creamed mixture, and mix well.

Pour into a greased 15 X 10 X 1 baking pan.
Bake at 350º for 22 to 25 minutes.
Cook completely.

Frosting
Cream butter, and cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Add gradually the powdered sugar, and vanilla.

Beat well.
Spread over bars.
