2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 cup black coffee
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 cup Crisco
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 stick butter

Icing
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 stick butter
1 tsp vanilla
2 TBL cocoa
1/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Bring cocoa, butter, Crisco, coffee to a boil. Add this to the rest of the ingredients, beat well with mixer and pour into buttered pan(15 x 10 x 1)

Bake at 400º for 20 minutes.

While baking mix icing. Put butter, cocoa, and milk in a pan, and bring to a boil. Immediately remove from heat and add vanilla. Beat with a whisk, ice brownies while still warm.

If you do not have buttermilk mix I TBL lemon juice with 1/2 cup milk and let stand until ready to use.
