8 slices bacon
1/4 cup bacon drippings
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 - 3 cup frozen hash browns
5 Tbsp flour
4 C. half/half
2 - 6 1/2 oz cans of minced clams
Add celery, salt, and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon in microwave or on stove top, reserve 1/4 cup of drippings lay aside. Combine bacon grease, onion, and celery in a bowl and microwave 7-8 minutes. Stir in flour and microwave for 30 seconds. Add clams with juice and half and half, salt, pepper (and any other spices), microwave for 12-14 minutes, stirring occasionally. Crumble bacon and green onion (if desired) on top.
