1 1/2 cup honey
4 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
6 eggs
1 cup black coffee
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp salt
3 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp all spice
1 1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 of a 1 oz bottle of anise
enough flour to handle

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and refrigerate dough for 2 hours or overnight, roll into balls. Bake at 325º for 15 minutes or until browned and sprinkle w/powdered suger. Refrigerate left overs.
