Sweet & Sour Chicken Recipe

1 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 T. ketchup
1/2 tsp of crushed garlic
1 T. soy sauce
1/2 t. sesame oil

1&1/2 cups of flour
1 egg
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 - 3 chicken breasts

Combine the first seven ingredients in saucepan on medium heat. Bring to a boil, add a squeeze of lemon juice. Thicken with corn syrup. Combine the flour, water & egg. If too thick add more water, or too thin, add more flour. Cut chicken into strips and dip in flour mixture. Cook in deep fryer at 350 degrees for about 3 minutes or until done.
