1/2 lb dried linguine
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1 small onion chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 6oz can tuna in olive oil (drained)
2 tablespoons drained bottled capers ( in brine)
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/4 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley

1. Fill a 6-8 quart pot with water. Add 1 tablespoon of salt. Bring to a boil.
2. While water comes to a boil, heat oil in a 12-inch heavy skillet over high heat until hot but not smoking and cook onions and garlic with salt and pepper, stirring occasionally, until golden, 6-8 minutes.
2. Stir in tuna, capers, raisins, parsley.
3.Cook pasta in a 6-8 quart pot of boiling salted (1 tbsp) water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta cooking water, then drain pasta.
4. Add pasta to tuna mixture (and some of the reserved water if too dry), tossing to combine, and serve immediately.
