1 1/3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
2/3 cup Milk
1 egg, well beaten
1 1/2 cups drained whole kernel corn
1 medium onion
1/2 cup chopped clams
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients in bowl. Combine milk and egg. Blend gradually with dry ingredients. Stir in corn, onions and clams. Drop from tablespoon onto hot griddle (pancake temperature).
Cook 3-5 minutes, browning each side and serve.

I remember Bob Cator, Doug's Dad, making these with goey ducks (a very large clam, found in the Puget Sound area. We added lots of butter on top, before we ate them. Teri
