4 cups peeled, chopped cooking apples
2 cups fresh cranberries
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 cup sugar
1 1/3 cup quick-cooking oats oatmeal
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted

Preheat oven 325
Combine apples and cranberries in a greased 2 qt baking dish
Sprinkle with lemon juice; top with granulated sugar
Combine the oats, walnuts, brown sugar and butter
Stir mixture just until dry ingredients are moistened and mixture is crumbly; sprinkle over fruit
Bake 60 minutes
Serve with vanilla ice cream
