2 2/3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons salt
1 3/4 cups butter
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 3/4 cups light brown sugar, firmly packed
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 1/2 cups old fashioned rolled oats oatmeal
4 2/3 cups raisins
3 1/2 cups chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350º
Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy
Add eggs and vanilla to creamed mixture and stir to combine
Whisk together flour, salt and soda in a mixing bowl
Add to creamed mixture and mix until blended
To the dough, mix in the oatmeal, raisins and nuts
Drop batter by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart
Bake 8 to 10 minutes and cool on racks before storing
