Stir in 3/4 cup warm water and let dough stand for 10 minutes. Pinch off dough the size of a lemon. Roll into a smooth ball. Pat to 3/4" thick between hands. Pull at edges in a circular motion. Flip between hands until about 8" across Fry in 1/2 cup of shortening.
