1 pint mushrooms, chopped or sliced
2 T butter
1 tsp. minced onion
1 C sour cream
1 tsp. thyme
tsp. lemon juice
tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
18 slices thin sliced bread (Pepperidge Farm)
margarine (for spreading on the bread)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Saute mushrooms and onions in butter until tender. Add sour cream and all spices. Makes 1 C filling. Allow to cool. Spread out bread and butter one side of each slice. Place butter side down on baking sheet. Put filling on 9 slices then cover with another slice, butter side up. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Turn once when brown, and toast other side for 5-10 minutes.
